Who are we?
The Alliance is an organization composed of the spouses of members of the Lake County Medical Society.

Purpose:

1) To cooperate with the Lake County Medical Society in advancing its aims and to carry on any activities it may suggest or approve for the Alliance.

2) To fulfill such functions as may be needed at County, District and State medical meetings.

3) To extend through its members the aims of the medical professional to all organizations for the advancement of health, education, charity and community service.

4) To establish and support a scholarship and loan fund for students who are enrolled in a health career, within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.

5) To establish and support a fund for contributions to the American Medical Association - Education and Research Foundation, a tax-exempt organization with the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of l954. These moneys will be distributed through the appropriate committee of the Ohio State Medical Association Alliance, herein referred to as the OSMA Alliance.
